Safe Skin Sunday – Lipstick!

Many of you probably notice that I always wear lipstick.  Harlow also notices that I always wear lipstick, and wants to be like Mommy and wear lipstick, too. Most conventional lipstick may contain an unsafe level of lead. The last federal law governing the cosmetics industry was passed in 1938 – more than 40 years earlier than the threshold for a lead paint disclosure on a home (1978)! Harlow, while she can be a spitfire, is more likely to borrow my lipstick than lick the walls.

This is yet another reason I switched to Beautycounter. Beautycounter’s lip sheers have a hint of vanilla, are conditioning for your lips, and most importantly are safe. Stand up for your health. Demand change with your purchases and switch to safer products.
